At Prayerbox.com we are proving that our company can do good and do well if the doing comes from the heart. We are located in hills of Northern California where all of our products are designed. Our one of a kind fine art objects are intended please the eye and lift the spirits. We believe faith informs the spirit providing direction and peace. We hope that our products will contribute in some small way to the faith of those who own them.

How it all started... Little did we know two years ago that our lives would change forever. A fine artist by training and temperament I found myself in the finance industry in a cubical. At the time my partner was a successful financial advisor working for a nationally recognized company. Not knowing our fate, we found ourselves headed down an entirely unexpected paths on our journeys.

I was painting canvases again, as time permitted, showing at regional galleries and on my fine art web site www.sharonart.org. Andy was sorting his way through the changing landscape of the financial industry. We both wanted to have more time for our families, a greater measure of self determination and the opportunity to pack something we believed in into the stream of life.

As happens in times of change I found myself reevaluating, challenging my assumptions looking within for new guidance and direction. I was focused on being open to change, open to new possibilities and wanted a reminder of my commitment to this new direction. While organizing my art supplies I happened across a collection of small boxes I had saved years earlier. I had been aware of Prayer Boxes or God boxes, as they are sometimes referred to, and the idea came to combine my faith and my art, each enriching the other. I was excited at the prospect of being able to focus on two of the most important aspects of my life and I was inspired by the idea that the union of those passions would produce a product that could add something positive to the lives of others. The idea filled all of my intuitive desires, faith, art and a product we could believe in!

Soon after I created my first prayer box keepsake we founded Prayerbox.com and / Shaz & Co. Wholesale Keepsakes. Today, our products can be found in specialty shops throughout the country and as far as Tokyo Japan! Our wholesale business is growing rapidly and while Andy manages most of the business and marketing aspects of the company I continue to expand our line of prayer boxes. I am currently working on additional lines of beautiful products to brand with our company name. We are truly a company created in faith and committed to doing what we can to make our world a better place.

We’ve learned that with faith, it’s never too late to follow your dreams, to believe in yourself and to make a difference in the lives of others.
